An expert in Human Factors Engineering, Ergonomics, UX, research & usability testing, system engineering, and more, Yakir started his career in the field of systems engineering and product development. The understanding that products interact with the people that use them and a desire to understand this interface led him to delve into the field, lecture on it, and become a member of the Association for Ergonomics & Human Factors Engineering’s board.
Nony believes that designers are nothing more – or less – than riddle solvers, and that the fields of UI and UX design create the most intriguing riddles, thanks to their ability to connect a wide variety of fields. With advanced decrees in Industrial Design (HIT Israel) and Strategic Product Design (UIAH Finland), as well as a previous stint as in User Experience Design with RealCommerce ltd. Israel, Nony has a long list of satisfied clients, including Cellcom, Mizrachi-Tefahot, ISTA, CLAL, ActiveTrail and CES-systems.
With vast experience in flight mechanics and performance, Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, and control and guidance, Galit is on a mission to make data-rich systems and technology as user-friendly as possible. Galit seeks to serve as the link between classic engineering and the people it serves, and her impressive resume of prior positions, including at Rafael and the IAF, are evidence that she successfully finds a way for the two to peacefully co-exist, against all odds.
Hila hails from the fields of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and lends her expertise to the ED&U team by performing ergonomic risk assessments and consultations to determine optimal product and system designs. Senior Ergonomist ED&U studio since 2020, Hila believes that communication between patients and practitioners, consultants and consultees, and people and the machines they use is ever critical, and that her role is to ensure minimum mediation is needed between sides, to ensure better outcomes for all.
Maria has long been fascinated by the connection between the fast pace of the modern, technological world, the rules of aestheticism and nature, and the human race’s position and role in it all. An expert in everything UI, product design, and marketing design, she worked for companies such as Spiral Solutions and ESN Global Media Ltd. before joining ED&U.
Though trained and well-experienced in the financial field, Edo has found a sense of excitement and fulfillment whilst working in fields pertaining to creation and development. Working directly with various control mechanisms to enable the people who use them to make the most of their efforts is what keeps Edo excited to do his job. He derives particular satisfaction from boosting user experience in Human Factors Engineering projects.
Ever since Tal was young, she has loved being involved in problem solving processes. She truly feels that helping find solutions to others’ challenges is her mission in life – in addition to filling the world with color and content. Her background in engineering and vast experience in UX/UI/Web design, user research, and usability testing has led her to “speak programming language” in an entirely creative way.
Maya is fed up with the multitude of systems that don’t “see” the people who use them, and has made it her #1 career goal to bridge this gap and ensure that people get what they really need, out of the systems they ultimately use. Her background in Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, and UX have aptly positioned her to succeed on the job at ED&U, and in life.
Michal has spent over 2.5 decades honing her skills in user research, usability research, and Human Factors Engineering at some of Israel’s most prominent organizations and institutions, including the IAF, IMod, and HFE. Currently serving as an HFE consultant and lecturer, she find the field of Human Factors Engineering to be the sweet spot where performance research meets its human side. According to Michal, well-planned systems improve performance, and are integral in reducing entropy, so all sides win big.
Nuphar holds advanced degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management, with a specialization in Human Factors Engineering, from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
When it comes to due diligence, Yossi is your guy. A user researcher who specializes in usability research and Human Factors Engineering, Yossi has put his advanced degrees in Cognitive Science from the University of Haifa to great use. Prior to joining ED&U, Yossi worked for some of Israel’s leading companies, including Elbit Systems and Cognit.
With a background in physical therapy and specializations in special needs rehabilitation and ergonomics, Marina lends an integral perspective to the ED&U team, with respect to the physical adjustment of rehabilitation equipment for working environments. Marina fully believes that when an environment or a product is well-adjusted, it can help people improve physically and emotionally, while helping to prevent pain and injuries.
An exemplary ergonomics consultant and lecturer, Inbal lends her knowledge and experience from the field of occupational therapy to help promote safer, more comfortable environments. Motivated by the frustration experienced when working with inappropriate products or environments, her vast experience working with some of Israel’s leading companies evidences her drive to create change in the world.
